Why Harley Rae Photography?

Welcome to Harley Rae Photography. My name is Harley, and I am excited you are here. I am based in Jefferson County Missouri, but I travel the greater St. Louis Area. In January 2025 I will be in the photography business for 10 years.  I am a versatile and celebrated photographer whose work beautifully balances the intimate and the extraordinary. Specializing in both family and boudoir photography, I have spent over a decade perfecting the art of capturing moments that are both personal and powerful. I am a wife, aunt, dog mom and mama to three beautiful angel babies. I started photography as a young kid. At first, I loved to be in front of the camera but the older I got I fell in love being behind the camera. I studied at STLCC majoring in Fine Arts of Photography. I have also taken multiple online courses by such amazing photographers. 

My passion for capturing the unique moments that define each family’s journey. With a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to connect with people, I specialize in creating heartfelt, authentic images that tell a story. My goal is to provide families with beautiful, timeless portraits that celebrate their love, laughter, and everyday life. In addition to my family work, I am passionate about boudoir photography, where my expertise shines in crafting elegant and empowering images. My boudoir sessions are celebrated for their ability to enhance self-confidence and highlight the beauty of my clients in a sophisticated and respectful manner. My goal is to make every subject feel celebrated and confident, providing a transformative experience through the lens.
